Development Application Permission

We are currently working on Development Permission Application for the project. It has many steps and luckily there is a list available that makes this process more efficient and much smoother. Here are some of the items that are part of the permission application:

Landscape Plan showing Garden Layout, Materials and Construction Plan
Budget
Maintenance and Management Plan including: equipment storage, responsibility and scheduleUtility Plan (from Records Office) indicating no impacts on underground utilities resulting from proposal
Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (if applicable)
Source of Water / Irrigation Strategy / Drainage Strategy
Waste Management Plan

Park & Learn: Intro

We are currently working on a research project on UBC campus called Park & Learn. It is an arts-based pedagogical food forest accessible to all bodies and movements, near the Reconciliation Pole, adjacent to the parking lot at Agronomy Road and Main Mall.

What will take shape and grow, will be in response to the environment, elements, conditions and people who might tend to the place. Place as a fluid concept will be enacted, negotiated and understood through human and non-human narratives and experiences.
